A Healthy Choice
Needless to say consumers throughout the world are increasingly conscious of their health and over the years they have become more discerning.
Tuna is one of the healthiest foods in the World. It is the natural source of Omega-3 fatty acids, which is linked to protection against serious diseases such as cardio vascular, certain cancer, alleviation of arthritic pain; it boosts immune system that provides protection against many other diseases.
It is excellent source of protein, good source of Vitamins A, B12, and D as well as niacin
and thiamin.
Our Tuna Products
Tuna chunks are available in 500 gr and 1 kg pouches (in variants of Albacore Tuna, Yellow Fin Tuna and Skipjack Tuna) adds to the variance in menu: from family meals to foods service operators.
Being most convenient ready-to-eat product requires no heating, products are ideal for variety of applications: from wide varieties of sandwiches to salad, pasta and other ready quick meals; from hotels, conferences buffet to cafes and canteens.
Manufacturing Process
Produced under HACCP rules and hygienic conditions in state of art machinery, vacuum packed in foil pouches, ensures the product shelf-stable, with longer shelf life similar to canned products. Cooked in clear spring waters of Fiji, maintains firm texture and taste.
It require no freezing for storage nor defrosting or heating for meal.
Processing
The factory located in Fiji, 4 km for the City of Suva in an Industrial Estate in the town of Lami, the Plant enjoys EU and USFDA accreditation and is comparable to Japanese Food Standards. Whilst most fish processing plants are comparative larger with mass production, quality is compromised. The Company’s processing plant is small, neat and ensures premium quality second to none. Small team of fully trained expatriate and local staff, are able to produce finest product that is able to compete with larger players.
Tuna Sources
Most of wild tuna are caught in pristine waters of Fiji’s EEZ as well as from unpolluted waters of neighboring Pacific Islands. This therefore guarantees the quality of processed product.
